![]() Larry has written, produced and engineered hundreds of national jingles and underscores, amassing a stunning 23 Clio awards to date. Such jingles include Toys R Us, Nestea, American Express, Hasbro and Burger King. Other advertising campaign clients include Kodak, Hershey’s, NJ Lottery, Kool Aid, Time Warner, Sports Illustrated, and Old Navy.
Larry has also worked with such luminaries as Carole King, Desmond Child, Richie Havens, Dion, Bob James, Michael Brecher, Dr. Billy Taylor, and Herbie Hancock. As a young engineer, Larry worked for Larry Rosen and Dave Grusin at GRP records. He traveled the world with such artists as Dave Grusin, Steve Gadd, Anthony Jackson, Dave Valentin, Angella Bofill, Tanya Maria and Michael Franks. He then went on to work at The Hit Factory, NYC with artists Janis Ian, Rick Derringer and Dion. Shortly afterward, he became house engineer at Bobby Columby's Camp Columby Studio where he recorded and mixed tracks for several music icons. Among the many tracks recorded for Desmond Child were the Bon Jovi demos that became "You Give Love A Bad Name" and "Livin' On A Prayer.” Larry has also mixed the music for a number of motion pictures and TV shows and has produced and mixed sound for live events at the Metropolitan Opera House and other major venues. As a vocalist, Larry has been heard on numerous local and national jingles for the likes of Nestles and Kodak, and is currently recording a vocal album of his own which includes originals as well as covers of some favorite classics. His primary genres and styles as a composer include Heartfelt Americana, rock, pop, anthems, themes and underscores. |
